Muli Bwanji!

Africa. I love everything about it. From it's warm, cloudless days...

to it's beautiful orange sunsets...

I loved seeing the animals that reminded me where I was...

and the animals that reminded me a little more of home...

From the beauty and vastness of Victoria Falls...

to the business of the market place...

for the friends I made there...

for all of the children...

and for my teammates...

I will always be indebted to Africa. I learned so much there...from making nshima to praising God with all that I have. Most importantly though, I learned how to love. With a love that does not have an agenda. A love that doesn't judge. A love that really is unconditional. A love like God loves.

Africa, I miss you already...

Zambia is amazing!!! The people are so nice!! I have had a few marriage proposals, but have sadly declined them all. haha.

I have prayed and been in the homes of people with AIDS, malaria, and even a demon possessed woman!! There are so many stories that I would love to tell but I am afraid I don't have the time. Just know that God is really using me a mighty way as many have given their life to Christ already!! Well, hope everything is going great in America!! Love you all! - Courtney

I know it has been awhile. Life is crazy though and it just keeps getting crazier as Zambia gets closer! I am not so great at juggling sga, finals, my last music and ministry thing (kind of bitterweet), bridal showers, saying bye to friends, and getting ready to leave for two months. Hopefully I will get better at it real soon, or maybe when I get home things will be better as I will be able to focus maybe just on Zambia. So the other night was Jr/Sr and here are some pictures....That's all for now...a lot has happened since my last post but there isn't time...

Me and Joe :) such cute twins

 Beha with me..i can't believe she's graduating :(

 with melissa and sara

 Roomies :) Charissa

Amy and next year's roomie, Emily :)

my good friend Teresa, and future apt mate :)

 Andrew :)

 Ray :)

I don't have a picture of Ryan and me...oops...there is one on Bethany's camera...so since I don't have a "date picture"..haha...this WV girls picture will have to do :)

Time to go back to studying...

Love you all,

Cork

Life is crazy and being stressed is not much fun. It causes zits and ulcers. haha. Last week was a lot of fun though even though it caused me to be running around this week like crazy in an attempt to make everything up.  NSLC 2006 in Nampa, Idaho.  Good times. It consisted of making some AMAZING new friends, especially from Trevecca, meeting and sharing information with people who will be doing the same job as me at other schools, going to Sherry's..haha..good times, a random road trip to Oregon, a train ride where I ran into my childhood sweetheart ;), dodgeball tournament, video night, eating way too much Mexican food, being "white trash", t-shirt exchange...oh, and I do heart Trevecca boys!!, things I can't remember right now, and most importantly...hiking up a mountain with our group, Travecca's group, and some of Olivet and NNU to enjoy the natural hot springs :) All I can say is AMAZING!! It was gorgeous up there and so much fun! I already miss all the great friends that I made, but we will have to make the road trip to see you all!!! I came back so tired but with papers due and tests to take...so what did I do...I went to a concert in Cleveland Monday night. Yeah...I am not always the brightest. It also was a lot of fun, and I had missed my friends too. Good times. Plus I have my great story of meeting and talking to Mat Kearney before the show and then having my phone beep from Tova's text during the concert and having him call me out to everyone as I pretty much ignored him. haha. I didn't tell that story well, but if you really care to know about it...well...ask because it was funny. And I witnessed Matt Wertz with his cowboy boots purchase as Em and I bought our sunglasses. Even with the concert, I was able to get everything done, but I didn't exactly sleep much this week. Two hours was the average it seems. Oh well. Today I got to go shopping for Africa for the first time with my mom!! This entailed a lot of skirts seeing that will be my fashion statement this summer. I can do it though. Who needs shorts?! haha...yeah...so anyway, I got some cute ones..random funny thought...I saw a man riding a lawn mower in dress clothes on my way home today! I am talking dress shirt, dress pants, and dress shoes! I am so easily amused it made me laugh for a good two minutes straight at least! Wow, I am tired and don't feel that I am probably making a ton of sense. I know I don't have any pictures on here yet of my trip, but you should go to facebook and check them out. There are quite a few pictures that people have put on there of me on the trip. Good times...ok...it is time for bed for this WV girl...love you all :)
